Based: Arbroath


Our client is a global manufacturing company based in Arbroath and are renowned for producing quality products within their industry. Continued growth and success has now led to a challenging opportunity for an Assistant Buyer to join the team


Key responsibilities:

  • Procurement of a variety of parts, materials and services
  • Identify and negotiate with suppliers
  • Monitor open orders and expedite as appropriate
  • Action MRP messages in a timely manner
  • Maintain vendor performance records
  • Maintain SAP data integrity
  • Liaise with other departments as required

Ideal candidate:

  • HNC/HND qualified or equivalent
  • Previous purchasing experience essential
  • Good commercial and negotiation skills
  • Good computer skills
  • MRP experience (SAP preferred)
