My client, a well-known and well respected manufacturing organisation are looking for an experienced Accountant to join their team based in Fife.

Ideally, my client is looking for someone with Manufacturing experience.

In this role you will work closely with the Financial Controller and will be involved in all aspects of Accountancy.

Key responsibilities include:

• Prepare monthly management reporting packs.


• Reconcile bank, sales ledger, purchase ledger and payroll.


• Prepare annual financial statements.


• Prepare annual operating plans.


• Prepare monthly VAT returns.


• Participate in operations and board meetings.

Key requirements for the role:

• Ideally, you will be either ACCA or CIMA qualified or equivalent.


• Previous experience within either a manufacturing or Engineering environment is essential.


• Previous experience within a similar role.


• Good IT skills and previous experience of Product Costing Systems would also be an advantage.


• Good numeracy, literacy and keyboard skills.


• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
