My Client

My client is a global leader within the Oil & Gas sector: due to a particularly busy period, they have an immediate requirement for an experienced Assistant Accountant to join them on a temporary basis estimated to last 3 months, possibly longer.

Duties will include:

• Assist with the preparation of the monthly and quarterly corporate submissions for various divisions


• Preparation of monthly and quarterly compliance documentation


• Prepare intercompany reconciliations in coordination with the Divisional Accountant


• Assist in preparation of annual Plan


• Provide UK Management with financial information as require


• Assist the Divisional Accountant and UK Finance Controller as required

To be considered for this position, candidates should have the following background and skills:

• Candidates should have solid past experience in a similar Assistant Accountant position, ideally within a large multi-site company


• SAP experience essential


• Strong Excel skills


• Looking for a self-starter who takes initiative


• Candidates should be able to work well in a team and also on their own.
