Busiest Day of the Year for Job Hunting 2012

It is predicted that today, Tuesday 10th January 2012, will be the busiest day of the year for job hunting with many workers using their lunch break to search for a new job.

Results from MyJobGroup's study of data from its jobsite over the last seven years shows that the first "normal" Tuesday after the New Year is the busiest for people searching for a new job.

Chris Cockburn, Marketing Manager at MyJobGroup said:

"With many people last year either simply happy to be in employment, or forced to stay put due to the recession, we're expecting this year to be our busiest yet as patience gives way to a more concerted effort to change jobs.''
